Toward Recovery: An Eating Concerns and Body Image Group for Young Adults

The format of the group will emphasize interpersonal process and connection, experiential exercises, support, and psychoeducation.

The focus of the group will be to:

  • Improve interpersonal connection 
  • Foster insight 
  • Increase motivation for change and sustained change
  • Develop and strengthen coping skills
  • Address underlying issues that contribute to eating disorders and body image concerns
  • Improve self-compassion and self-esteem

Group Details

Where: 1810 W 700 N, #150 Lindon, Utah 84042

 When: Monday evenings 5:30-7:00 pm

$55 per group session

6-week commitment requested

Led by Dr. Anna Packard, Phd, CGP

Dr. Packard is a licensed psychologist and recently earned the distinction of becoming a Certified Group Psychothearpist. She has extensive training and experience in developing and leading groups for individuals with eating disorders and body image concerns. She is passionate about group psychotherapy and believes in the power of group to facilitate lasting change. She values the experience of individual group members as well as the development of the group as a whole, and will work to create an environment where group members are able to be authentic, vulnerable, give and receive support, and move toward achieving their personal goals.
